With a panel of pipe-smoking enthusiasts on site at the Sutliff factory to review the blends that Per Georg has created, the Birds of a Feather Limited Release Series was born. Paradoxical is the fifth release in this series and is a blend of complexity. Flake/Cake Cut - Paradoxical is Burley dominated with all the qualities it brings, complimented by the unique Rustica Tobacco. The taste is Nutty with underlying cocoa notes, as good Burley provides, and is supported by the sweetness from the Virginias. On top of this the spicy and earthy notes from the Rustica present itself, and not only in the taste is Rustica to find, but it also turns up the strength just a notch. A pleasant blend to smoke with a good mouthfeel and satisfactory on strength.
