Cannabigerol, or CBG, also called the "mother of all cannabinoid." This is because all of the other cannabinoids in the hemp plant derive originally from CBG. It is thought that CBG may be an even more potent cannabinoid for human health than CBD. Similiar to CBD, CBG is non-intoxicating. Try today to experience the difference between CBD Hemp and CBG Hemp.
CBG hemp is one of the many cannabinoid strains derived from the common hemp plant. CBG, or cannabigerol, is a more potent and effective strain than your everyday CBD or cannabidiol. CBG flowers are often smoked in the same way as tobacco leaves but do not present any of the harmful side effects of tobacco. In addition to our vast range of fine tobacco products, we also provide a fantastic selection of CBD, CBG, and hemp products. Like many of you, we believe wholeheartedly that hemp and the many products that derive from it are safe and natural supplements that have been beneficial to many people.
Effects of CBG Hemp CBG hemp is most commonly used as a more natural remedy for the effects of anxiety or stress. CBG has been proven to have very calming side effects that can drastically reduce feelings of depression and the impacts of post-traumatic stress. Some other uses of CBG products can mitigate daily stressors and improve the depth and length of a person's sleep patterns. Continual CBG use has been linked to several major health benefits, including reducing the symptoms of some neurological diseases, increasing the heart's health, and even improving the daily lives of cancer patients. Through extensive scientific study, CBG has been found to offer overwhelmingly positive benefits to the user. CBG Flavor Options Our CBG products are available in both flavored and unflavored varieties, so there is something for everyone. If you prefer the pure taste and smell of CBG flowers, then we have several unflavored options available. If you like adding a little more flavor and depth to your smoking experience, we have several deliciously flavored varieties, including grape, cherry, and menthol. CBG Itself has a very mild and neutral flavor and pairs particularly well with fruit and citrus flavors. We proudly offer a wide range of CBG hemp products, including packs of pre-rolled cigarillos, kush pre-rolls, and loose-leaf CBG flowers. What is the typical cannabinoid profile of CBG Hemp, and how does it differ from other hemp strains?
As young cannabis plants mature and bud, various enzymes, and compounds combine to create the precursor to CBG, also called "early phase" cannabinoid, or CBGA. CBGA is where all cannabinoids start, and as the plant nears the end of its growth cycle, absorbing more UV light, CBGA breaks down and converts into THCA and CBDA, the acidic precursors to our two favorite and most prominent cannabinoids, THC and CBD and unless specifically bred to do so, only a minimal amount becomes CBG.
Because CBG isn't abundant in most strains, breeders have begun crossbreeding plants to achieve higher levels of CBG.
Research also indicated unlike other hemp strains, CBG can bind to both CB1 and CB2 receptors, meaning it not only interacts directly but can counteract the effects of other cannabinoids. While research is ongoing, several studies suggest that CBG can offer treatment and symptom relief of glaucoma, IBS, help combat symptoms of Huntington's disease, may address the symptoms of ADHD, and has potential as a cancer inhibitor and treatment.
