A blunt wrap is typically made from the tobacco leaf of a cigar, but can also be made from other materials like hemp or rice paper. The tobacco leaf is removed from the cigar and then flattened, after that it is filled it is then rolled to create a cigar-like shape. Blunt wraps are a popular as they provide a stronger flavor and a slower burn than rolling papers. Some people prefer blunt wraps over rolling papers because they are thicker and can hold more of the smoking blend.

• A pouch of rolling tobacco and wraps are much cheaper in certain places than outright purchasing brand name or generic brand cigarettes.
• There's something about the art of rolling your own that often has an artisanal feel for many that they enjoy.
• When you RYO, you always know exactly what is going into your blunt wraps as you're in control. It's estimated that a single pre-rolled cigarette can have up to 7 000 different chemicals within it. Frequently Asked Questions
What are blunt wraps?
A blunt wrap or blunt wraps are rolling papers created for smoking tobacco, hemp flower, or cannabis cigars, also known as a blunt. Blunt wraps are designed from various materials: cigar papers, tobacco leaves, rice paper, and more. They can also come in multiple shapes and sizes, such as pre-rolled cones, and can be flavored or unflavored.
What is a blunt wrap made of?
Initially, blunt wraps were created from tobacco leaves or pulped tobacco, creating a consistent and even sheet of wrap. While tobacco remains a traditional material for blunt wraps, other materials such as hemp, flax, rice paper, and even natural rose petals are available today.
How are blunt wraps used?
Blunt wraps are used to consume tobacco or hemp flower. How do you use a blunt wrap?
- Start with a fresh wrap from your favorite brand.
- Grab your tobacco or flower. If neither is ground, grind your filling to the perfect size. Most experts prefer a medium grind as too fine a grind can cause the smoke to burn too hot and fast.
- Ready your tobacco. Most wraps can handle about one or two grams.
- Dampen the wrap with a small amount of water; high-quality wraps will be flexible and pliant but not tear when dampened.
- Load the wrap by sprinkling your tobacco or ground flower evenly across the cavity within the wrap.
- Begin rolling. Start by squeezing and rolling the wrap between fingers with both hands on the mouthpiece end, and keep squeezing and rolling down. This will help pack the blunt and form it into the correct shape. Once shaped, carefully tuck the bottom side over and behind to roll it into a cylinder. The dampening you did in step 4 should keep and seal it together once folded over, but you may need to remoisten the top edge, so it sticks.
- Seal it. Since you dampened the wrap and may have had to wet it a second time, it's essential to seal it so it burns correctly. Once it's rolled, a wrap needs to be dried out to give you that smooth burning. You can leave it alone to dry for about 10 minutes or use a lighter held far away from the wrap so as not to burn it.
- Once sealed, light up and enjoy!
